Testimonials

Monique Thomson
Business Associate of "Wee Watch"

"I recently used the services of Teknician to set up my home-based business computer system. After scanning the newspaper flyers I was at a lost of what to purchase, I approached Teknician with my needs, requirements and budget.

They recommended the system I needed, where to purchase the items and prepared a shopping list. I was able to get exactly what I needed. No negotiation required, no hassle, no gimmicks. I saved valuable time and money that I had originally wasted dealing with large computer sale agents. I would recommend them for any home based business that does not have a computer technician on staff. Service with quality, prompt and reliability"

Computer Worms vs Viruses Print E-mail

A computer worm is a self-replicating computer program. It uses a network to send copies of itself to other computer terminals and it may do so without any user intervention. Unlike a virus, it does not need to attach itself to an existing program. Worms almost always cause harm to the network, if only by consuming bandwidth, whereas viruses almost always corrupt or modify files on a targeted computer.
